Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) – Download Excel Calculator 2025
I have created a Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) – Download Excel Calculator 2025 where you can enter your own monthly or yearly contributions, change the option of whether you deposited before the 5th or after the 5th (Sukanya Samriddhi Account -When to invest to earn more returns?), automatically check whether you are eligible for 50% withdrawal of the balance or not, and also change the interest for each month (as SSY interest changes once in a quarter and the latest one is “Post Office Small Savings Scheme Interest Rate Oct – Dec 2024“).
Let me share with you certain features of this Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) calculator. There are two sheets here. Let me share the features of the “Calculator” sheet first.

Notice that you have to enter in the fields which are marked with green color like the age of the child, the amount you deposited (monthly or yearly once) applicable rate of interest per month (as it changes on a quarterly basis).
Also, in this calculator, you can automatically identify when you are eligible for withdrawal and what is the withdrawal amount (for this entering the age of your child is mandatory).
This calculation is available for each year for the next 15 years (as one can contribute to 15 years from the date of account opening). After 15 years to 21 years as you can’t contribute, you no need to enter the contributions. Instead, just enter the applicable interest rates. The calculator from the 16th year looks like below.

Let me now share with you the “Output” sheet feature. You do not need to enter anything here. But this sheet will give you the complete picture of your investment in SSY (both in tabular way and also in chart form) like below.

Also, by default, you can see the graph of your invested amount, accrued yearly interest, and the total value at maturity as below.
