As of now only three languages are available. You can interact in English, Hindi and Malayalam. But Government promised that in coming days, they will include all other regional languages.

# Working Timings of India Post Help Center and a Toll-Free Number 1924

The timings will be from 8 A.M to 8 P.M on all working days except holidays.

# Deadline to solve your complaints in India Post Help Center and a Toll-Free Number 1924

Except in the case of policy decisions, all complaints related to postal services will be addressed within 24 Hours. Policy decisions will also be resolved within a week time.

# How you can call to India Post Help Center and a Toll-Free Number 1924?

A toll-free helpline number ‘1924’ would be available for customers from all over India from landline/mobile phone of service providers namely AirTel, Idea, Vodaphone, Telenor, Aircel, MTS, Reliance etc.

# What will be reference number?

The complaints received from the complainant on toll-free number ‘1924’ would be registered in Computerized Customer Centre (CCC) Portal by the operators at the Dak Bhawan and the 11 digits ticket number would be provided to the complainants.

# How the India Post Help Center and a Toll-Free Number 1924 will work?

If the complaint already registered, the complainant would be informed the status as viewed in CCC Portal. As soon as the complaint is generated on CCC Portal, the concerned post office will take immediate necessary action to resolve it and would upload the status.

All the Postal Circles will have a Control Room for monitoring and redressal of complaints. The Nodal Officer in each Circle will open the CCC Portal every day and check all the complaints beginning with “100030 – …… the Toll-Free Complaints” and will examine for quick disposal. The Circle Heads would direct to all the Post Offices concerned to ensure that they log in CCC Portal at the beginning of day and at the end of the day compulsorily.

The Circles would provide utmost priority and quick disposal of the complaints received through Toll-Free Centre.

I think this is a great move by Government. Because in my view India Post is the one organization which is lagging behind in addressing the customer complaints or updating their system to customer friendly. Now slowly they are adapting to changes.

    I booked on parcel through speed post on 6th March 2018.
    it is still showing its last location as on 7th March 2018 still date and time.
    I put compliant also but yet no reply.
    facing lots of problem due to this.
    Even I tried to call customer but in vain,
    Please suggest some alternative to get out of this trouble

    mere mosa ji ka passbook ghar me kahi ko gaya tha post office me gaye to unone ne yeh kaha fir darj karho hum thana shivekuti gaye aur waha fir darj karva ke diya to usme galti batane lage to humlogo ne dubara fir darj karya aaj se 20/25 di ho gaye magar passbook nahi banyi jis passbook sepaisa aa raha lagbhag bade babu ne 800000 lakh batya tha magar ab bade babu ne kaha hum se kaha ki aap 5 lakh ka montali income me kara ligye passbook ki deri ke waja se hum loge ne kaha aap 300000 ka fix kar diziye is tarh babu ne 3 withdraw par humere mosa ji se sign karwa liya kaam jaldi ho jaye isliye maine mosa ji ko sign karne se roka nahi par aapke site par shella kullar ji ka complain pada to daar lag raha ki kahi aise hum loge ke sath na ho jaye …plese help me ab main kya karu ….

Mr. Basavaraj before writing this blod did you ever made a call to this number 1924 this number is fake it never works either you call on it once or several times its just says one thing dial kiya gya no. Vedh nahi hai i think you should have done your research on this no. before giving this number on your blog.

    My father send to me parcel through speed post on 17 aug 2017 and I am stay in Bangalore for study perpose . and my parcel came to Basaveshwar Nagar post office (560079)
    And that people called me and said your address is incorrect then I show all proof to that people to prove myself but he didn’t give and he returned back i am dispointed to that service so please help me

    • Suman-They never commits mistake to send to the wrong person (if they found wrong name or address). Hence, let it returns back to your father. Let him re-send the same with correct name and address.

      • You know my letter was my hand and I prove that Post office person this letter is my and I prove myself with him by my government Id. But that person didn’t understand me he told I will return your letter to your father my fault is I did mistake on my address .

  25. What is meant by the words “not migrated”? My daughter had bought NSCs worth 25k from Sakinaka,Mumbai P.O in 2009.when I approached my CBS-enabled P.O in Kolkata in September,2016 for matured amount they sent the copies of relevant NSCs to Sakinaka Post Office,Mumbai for verification of my daughter’s signature . Sakinaka sent back the NSCs with the remark “Not migrated”. Kolkata post office then advised me to approach Sakinaka post office direct as they (Kolkata post office) have nothing further to do. Is this the only solution?My daughter is out of the country for a number of years and not in a position to come to India soon. Whom shall write? Kindly advise.

  29. Yes you right, as a customer even when we visit the post office we have to wait in a long que. people are screaming and fighting with eachother. No one is available in the counter. If you ask the person in the counter sitting next to the empty sit. The reply is like you are a unwated neglected person. Just like people who stand outside are counter are criminals.

    My wife is work with post agent Ajwa road post ,Baroda – 19. Last three , four month lot of suffering problem by deptt staff high level haresment . I all ready complaint register no . PMOPG/2016/0317659 to pmo office. All agent meet also higher authority like PMG.
    They treat like beggars, post reputation very down in few months govt . Also lost lot of Revanue due this type behaviour.
    Customer getting his money not on time, new investment reciept given 20to 25 days.maturity cheq also given 20 to 25 days.Mis intrest not given regularly so we trouble to costmer RD accounts deposit.This is basic problem after server,software this is one different problem. Every day fighting Costmer & staff,suffer lot of problems for senior citizens also .All costmer away from post investment because this type attitude.I all india this is one financial institution they r not happy to come bussiness ,bussiness come they are not happy, india other financial any institution target for bussiness, motivate people, best service coustmer post have few business due to only agent service otherwise any costumer not come directly,sir so u think that for better future Post deptt. U insetive for that.
    I hope favourable soloution earlyest possible.all woman agent very tired & upset so we request solution earlyst .

    • Jignesh shah In post office MPBKY agents should personally visit to PO for doing their business relates to DoP Schemes but in some area their husbands are approching to PO for the business which is not in rule. It is scheme for housewife females only. But some husbands are doing business in the name of their wives and deceived goverment which is very shameful. DoP officials are just following their rules and peoples like you are thinking that it is harrasment.

    It is very difficult for us to make payment in Post Office as they always claim server not responding.
    They do not work as per their working hours and close whenever they want to go out.
    No alternate staff if someone is on leave we need to go again they never ever respect public as Customer.
    They need to learn more about service.
    They behave as if we are strangers/beggars.
    I am writing this about Chennai GPO.
    We are fed up to use Savings account also.
