Hi, After reading your blog I came to know that I need to claim my EPS separately. In 2014 I switch company from TechM to CTS and in Feb 2015 my online PF transfer claim was settled. Now I can check my EPF balance with my new PF account but not sure what happened to my old EPS amount. So I submit Form 10C to withdraw my Old EPS balance as I don’t want certificate. But my Form 10C claim rejected by EPF department saying my EPF is already settled. But I am not able to understand with online transfer claim have they transfer both EPF and EPS or they misunderstand my claim. Please help. My Online PF transfer form name was “ONLINE TRANSFER CLAIM FORM [FORM 13 (REVISED)]”. Is this possible to settle EPS with this FORM 13 only?
I think it is transferred to your existing EPF account. Check the same and if it is not reflecting then raise the issue with EPFO.
Came to know an information and would like to share so that no other person should suffer like me. PF transfer from old organisation to new organisation is a complete process. You no need to worry about EPF and EPS separately. In new PF account you can check old EPF balance. But not EPS balance. Because actually EPS amount did not get transfer. But only the information transfer so that it can be used during pension calculation. So old office only provide SERVICE DETAILS INFORMATION (VIZ LENGTH OF SERVICE, NON-CONTRIBUTORY PERIOD, LAST WAGES DRAWN ETC) using ANNEXURE-K to new PF office. And thats enough. So no need to worry about EPS if you have done PF transfer.
Basu, I didn’t understand your reply and what Manjari said, can you please help? So all one needs to do is apply for a PF transfer and it’s done? EPS is not “lost” but gets transferred as part of the EPF process itself to the new organization? The amount with EPFO and new organization is total of previous EPF+EPS?
He is saying EPS never get transferred. Only your service details get updated. Hence, you can’t view it in your passbook.
