Beware of BasuNivesh Impostors – Official Contacts Only

This advisory is issued to caution investors against impostors/fraudsters misusing the BasuNivesh name, in line with SEBI’s investor protection guidelines.

At BasuNivesh Fee-Only Financial Planners, trust is the foundation of everything we do. Over the last 15 years, thousands of investors have turned to us because they value conflict-free, unbiased guidance.
Unfortunately, this reputation has also attracted imposters who try to misuse our name.

Recently, we have received reports of fraudsters using our brand, logo, and even look-alike email IDs to pitch “hot stock tips,” “guaranteed returns,” or premium services.
Let us be absolutely clear: these people are not part of BasuNivesh.

How Imposters Try to Mislead Investors

  1. Fake Social Media Handles – Fraudsters create profiles that look like ours and send “exclusive investment opportunity” messages.
  2. Unverified WhatsApp & Telegram Groups – Victims are added to groups like “BasuNivesh Premium Calls” and charged subscription fees.
  3. Spoofed Emails and Phone Numbers – Emails from IDs such as basunivesh.advisor@gmail.com or calls from unknown numbers use our name to appear credible.
  4. Guaranteed-Return Pitches – Any promise like “double your money in six months” is a sure sign of a scam.

Remember: No legitimate adviser can guarantee returns.

What BasuNivesh Will Never Do

  • No Commissioned Product Sales – We are a SEBI-Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) operating strictly on a fixed fee-only model.
  • No Cold Calls or Random Messages – We never initiate unsolicited calls, WhatsApp messages, or Telegram invites.
  • No “Hot Tips” or Intraday Calls – Our work is long-term financial planning, not day-trading signals.
  • Transparent Process – Every client receives a written agreement with our SEBI registration number through our official email communication and contact details (provided below).
