My employer has just opted for provident fund and they have taken basic of 15000 per individual in that 12% as Employee contribution like Rs 1800 per month and 13.15% (Rs.1972.50) as Employer contribution which in including 1.15% as admin charges is 172.50.
My query here is about admin charges. Can employer deduct these admin charges from employee’s salary? I am aware about employee and employer’s contribution of 12% each towards PF, but what about the admin charges? Isn’t it responsibility of the employer and should be paid by them?
or if there’s any law in this regard which I can help me as an employee to ask my employer not to impose these admin charges on employee salary.

The employer can’t deduct their part of EPF or admin charges from an employee. But if they are showing in your CTC, then no harm.
Thank you so much for your quick response, yes EPF is a part of ctc, but not the admin charges.
