Sir, as you said me to invest on a debt short term fund, is this fund good-Birla Sun Life Medium Term Plan?
My investment will be in ELSS – 2000/month, PPF – 2000/month plus now this debt short term fund 2000/month. I can invest 2000 more and please suggest me which fund suits me again for a long term?
Laxmish-How you selected this fund and when for purpose I recommended short term debt fund? Can you elaborate more?
sir, as you recommended me to join to a short term debt fund, i checked on some sites and also on valueresearchonline.com. and i saw the last 5yrs performance is good of Birla Sun Life Medium Term Plan. now i plan to invest it for more than 5 yrs may be upto 10 yrs. if its not a good fund for short term debt fund. please suggest me some other fund.
Laxmish-Short Term Debt fund must be selected as a debt portfolio. Whether you have that proper allocation?

in HDFC Balanced Fund, your investable amount have 35% exposure to debt and rest 65% in equity.

Laxmish-You can’t invest currently in SBI, they stopped fresh subscription. You can go ahead with Franklin and Tata.
