I could only access my old EPF passbook (attached to an UAN generated by the previous employer) from the EPFO website. My current employer has generated a new UAN. My problems are:
- I am not able to regenerate password for the new UAN (as I don’t know what was the initial password set by our HR). I am getting a prompted error message saying that the UAN does not exist. What to do?
- I had applied for the transfer of EPF through OTPC. How to know whether my old EPF account got merged with the new one or not?
- I have already sent out 2 emails to EPFO office regarding deactivation of the old UAN and merger of EPF accounts, but no response yet.
P.S.: My HR is a piece of sh*t who is of little help in this regard. That’s the reason I am seeking your advice.
