Dear Mr. Basunivesh,
First of all please accept my thanks and congratulations for running such an informative blog.
Second is the dilemma I’m in regarding EPFO. I’ve tried to find the answer to these questions but was unable to do so. I apologize in case this question(s) has been asked before. The situations is listed as under :-
I’ve acquired a UAN number (April 2016) though my own efforts and activated it as per EPFO guidelines. In addition I’ve linked all my former PF numbers and uploaded a Notary Attested PAN card scan under KYC links of the portal. This is currently showing as pending approval.
I’m not working with any EPFO eligible organization since August 2015. Hence I wanted to close/withdraw PF balance from all my previous employers (total 4). Out of these 4 employers 2 employers are the same as I rejoined my previous organization after spending 3 years at another separate organization.
As a result I have two separate PF numbers listed under the same organization. One for the earlier tenure and another for the second and last tenure. I’ve not opted for merging of PF accounts when I was employed.
The last employer has issued me two sets of (one for each tenure) – FORM 19 + FORM 15G + FORM 3A (Revised) along with requisite stamping of the forms. And have advised me to approach EPFO office for manual submission/withdrawal request.
Another employer has sent me the new UAN form to fill up and submit. While the third employer remains non-responsive to queries.
Is it allowed/permissible to approach EPFO for submission of withdrawal requests with two sets of forms ? As one set of forms is based on manual submission while another is a new form for UAN method of withdrawal ?
It would be helpful if you can guide me in this issue. Although this may be small matter for your level of expertise I’m willing to engage in any services (with fee) offered by your resources to help me in this process.
Hoping for a positive repsonse.
Only one EPF account is showing as ‘linked by employer’ whereas as the other three have been linked by me.
So if you meant if my 4 PF accounts show up in the UAN login. The answer is yes. The drop down to select the PF number however lists only one PF account.
I hope I’ve understood and answered correctly your question.
