Dear Mr. Basavaraj,
I had invested into 8% Govt.of India Taxable Bonds through State Bank of India, Kolkata Main Branch at Strand Road.in May 2017. . On 1-Aug-2017 and 1-Feb-2018 I have received NEFT credit into my a/c @ 8% p.a. rate and 10% of the interest amount was applied and TDS deducted at that time directly by SBI. Viz. I received only 90% of the interest receivable by me. Totally Rs. 4550 has been deducted
I need TDS Certificate but dont know how or where to get it from. Actually now that I am retired, my tax bracket has come down to below Rs. 250,000 and I need to apply for refund.
Can you please guide me if I can email somebody at SBI to get this TDS certificate or any other method so I can get refund of the tax deducted at source by SBI on these bonds at time of interest payment.
Many thanks for your kind guidance as always.

Whether you tried it to download from online? Whether you approached the Bank Branch where you invested?
I went to the Incometax filing website for getting my 26AS form. Out of three deductions, it shows only first one. I have asked the agent who helped me buy it but he says I must wait till last week of July by when it will appear as SBI is in the process. I have to wait he says. He cannot provide me any email id where I can write to get it. Is that possible ? Kindly advise
In 26AS form at incometax filing website only the first TDS appears, balance two do not appear. what to do please ?
Better not to wait and contact the concerned immediately.
whom to contact please ? Shall I go to SBI Main Branch at Strand Road ? Which dept should I go to ? Bonds section or TDS Section please ?
If you purchased through SBI, then approach the same bank.
I approached the bank and they have updated at 26AS. Now it is showing all three TDS in my 26AS of that period viz. 1.4.17 to 31.3.18. So I could file my IT return online now.
Many thanks for your guidance – indeed grateful Sir.
