I am already investing in mutual funds of amount Rs.15000 on different schemes per month in total like below.
SBI Blue Chip-4000
ICICI Pru Value Discovery-5000
Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund-2000
Axis Long Term Equity Fund-100000 (invested as single one-time lump sum amount as this requires lock-in period)
All above are direct growth. I got Rs.90000 from my previous company, I want to invest this amount in better yielding investments for next 10 years, I do not want touch this amount.
Can you please suggest me where can I invest this lum sump amount for next 10 years?
Sir, above mutual fund investments, are better for my retirement purpose also? or do I need to add any mutual fund which is retirement purpose? if then may I know which fund is better for next 31 years ( preset is age 29 sir, considering 60 yrs as retirement age ).
Sir, is their any good returns for 10 years if I invest in any sector funds? or those fund are not good ?
Sir, please kindly suggest on this lum sump amount.
Ramesh-For lump sum investment of Rs.1,00,000, I suggest you to go for existing Tata Balanced Fund. Yes, existing funds are good for wealth creation of retirement corpus. You can continue. But at the same time, don’t forget to review your portfolio once in a year.
Sir , Thanks for the response , yes sure sir i will review my portfolio every year , sir i have one doubt , is it good to invest in sector mutual funds like for example Reliance Pharama , any suggestion sir .
Ramesh-Sector funds are riskier than small and mid cap funds. Why to test our money?
Sir do i need to invest in the exsisting folio of tata balanced fund ? because i am investing in SIP manner in this balanced fund , is it possible to invest in this amount in lum sump manner ? at what time do i need to invest this lum sump amount in this balanced fund , do i need to wait for some more time ? Sir i want to invest another 3000 to 4000 on SIP manner for next 10 years , the target is for good wealth creation , can you please suggest any mutual fund scheme or any other investment option
Invest whenever you have cash. Even GOD don’t know when will market is LOW to invest. Don’t time the market. Invest and stay in for long term. Yes, use Tata Balanced Fund.
Sir thanks for the response ,Sir i want to invest apart from above schmes another 3000 to 4000 on SIP manner for next 10 years , the target is for good wealth creation , can you please suggest any mutual fund scheme or any other investment option
Use one large cap along with balanced fund. You may select ICICI or Franklin Bluechip.
Sir , if it is LARGE CAP itself , as i mentioned above , i am investing in the SBI Blue Chip , is it fine if i go with the same fund for these another 3000 SIP amount ? why to go with ICICI or Franklin , can you please help
No no…sorry for missing SBI. You can go ahead with SBI.
Thanks Sir , so i will start investing these 3000 as SIP in these SBI BULE CHIP . i have one doubt , can we split these into two 1500 and we will invest 1500 in SBI BLUE CHIP and invest in other 1500 in another SMALL AND MID CAP fund ? if it is fine , can you please suggest which small and mid cap is best (is it ok if i go with the same small and mid cap what i am investing now or is their a better one ?)
Instead of small and mid cap fund, use a equity oriented balanced fund like HDFC Balanced Fund. Your timeframe is 10 years, so I feel small and mid cap not good.
Sir , thanks for the response , is it ok to go with multicap fund like Franklin India High Growth Companies Fund ? those will provide the safety like large cap and returns some thing similar to small & mid cap . can you please suggest , can i invest the totoal 3000 on this multi cap fund if multi cap is fine ?
I suggested HDFC Balanced fund considering the equity to debt ratio of 65:35. If you invest all Rs.3,000 in such multi-cap funds then how you can build your debt portfolio? If you are so fond of multi cap then I suggest a SMALL portion to it.
