I have short-listed below funds to begin my INVESTMENT Journey.
Marital status: Single
Monthly SIP: Min 5000Rs/Month to start with and will gradually increase it to 15,000Rs/Month
Investment Goals in order of Precedence.
1. Retirement (5 Crores – 31 years away)
2. Kids Education (50lk – 24 Years away)
3. Kids Wedding (25lk – 28 years away)
1. Large & Mid Cap
Franklin India Prima Plus Fund (G) [ 2000Rs Monthly SIP ]
2. Mid & Small Cap
UTI Mid Cap Fund (G) [ 1000Rs Monthly SIP ]
3. ELSS (Mostly Large Cap, For Tax saving purpose)
Axis Long Term Equity (G) [ 1000Rs Monthly SIP ]
4. Debt Fund
Mostly invest in PPF, Not decided yet. Kindly suggest one Debt MF.

Equity Debt Ratio :: 80:20
Expected rate of return on portfolio: Atleast 15% CAGR
Please provide your inputs on above Goals, Fund selection and allocation, so that I can adjust accordingly to get the desired returns of 15% CAGR.
Parashuram-In my view, you already selected a small and mid cap fund. Hence, select a pure large cap fund like ICICI or Franklin Bluechip Fund instead of Franklin India Prima. Regarding debt portfolio, I suggest to manage with equity oriented balanced fund like HDFC Balanced Fund. Along with that you can use PPF. Allocation is correct (I usually prefer 70:30).
I expect around 12% return. If it is more than that, then it is BONUS 🙂
