Hi,
I am currently investing monthly SIP as below, I am looking for a long-term horizon like 10-15 years. I am an NRI and 32-year-old.
5000 in HDFC top 200
5000 in HDFC prudence
5000 in Franklin India bluechip
5000 in Axis long-term equity
5000 in Birla SL pure value
5000 in Reliance small cap
Please let me know which one should I come out of and remain invested or change to any other fund.
Thanks
Vini-Retain HDFC Top 200 Fund for a year or so. If it is consistently under performing then better retain only one large cap (Franklin). Instead of HDFC Prudence, I am bit inclined towards HDFC Balanced. Both Small/Midcap Funds (Birla and Reliance are new around less than or equal to 5 years). Hence, as of now continue them with retaining anyone of your choice. Strictly monitor it, if they under-perform then immediately switch. Because I am always skeptical about the funds which are new (around 5 years or so). You can continue Axis.
Thanks Basu, I will hold on to these for a year and then review again.
