Hi Basu ji,
I am having one generic query related to SIP.
If after 5 or 6 or any random no of year, we are feeling our SIP is not performing well and we need to change the mutual fund then what should we need to do with exisitng SIP?If we redeem it then it would hamper our goal which might be a few year away from that time.
How redeeming from the underperforming goal and investing another fund (which may be performing well) will hurt your goal? If your goal is so near, then whether this underperforming fund will create wonders and make you to reach your goal safely?
Also, if your goal is less than five years, then come out of equity slowly. Because as your goal nears, you must reduce your equity exposure.
Actually my question is for a goal of 15 year, if our MF is not performing well(10 years still remaining) then what should we do with exisiting fund?
