I had applied for EPF withdrawal, the forms had been received on 25th of July from the PF office(Delhi South). I got a mail stating that the amount has been approved and will be credited soon to my bank account. But the EPS amount stated in the mail which was approved was Rs 14127, but the actual amount in the passbook was Rs.22930. So immediately I had sent a mail to them and registering a complaint on their Grievance Portal. They asked me for the passbook and I had sent the same. Then after some days the Grievance Portal closed the complaint without no reply. I had sent a mail to the Regional P.F Commisioner, his reply came stating that the amount would be credited. The amount was credited to my account but it was the lessened amount of Rs 14127, I again registered the complaint on the online portal on the 8th of August. Yesterday I got the reply asking me to submit the 10c forms again for part payment. Also I got an email from the same office yesterday(28-08-2017) stating that the amount of Rs 14127 was the correct amount as I had 93 days of NCP. So i replied to them stating that in my tenure of 1 year and 7 months I was not absent for the said number of days, as I have the Salary slips showing the Salary withdrawn, if 93 days was absent in this 1 year and 7 months it should reflect in salary and also in the EPS contribution, but in the Passbook it does not show any deduction.
Today I got a mail in reply to mail is that now there was 124 days of NCP, which is contradicting. I have contacted my employer, they also said that there was no such absent days in my tenure.
This is the case, if required I can share the screen shots. Please advise me what to do.
Now I think they finally accepted as 124 days. Considering their reply, you can again send the form for withdrawal. EPF is a complete MESS.
Thank you for your reply. Just wanted to know if my tenure was 1 year and 7 months wouldn’t I fall in the 2 year slab in Table D of EPS withdrawal… Also accordingly including basic and DA was 24000. So could you tell how the calculation is done
My salary was Rs 24,000 for this 19 months
The amount contributed by my employer shows Rs 1154 per month. So could you please tell me what would be the end EPS calculation of the period of 1 year 7 months according to Table D
Instead of doing this, just try to multiply by the accumulated EPS as per table for 2 years.
Is the accumulated EPS the amount of Rs 22930. I really apologize for my ignorance
In my view YES.
Thanks a lot. I think there is some wrong going on.. As firstly the 1 and 7 months has been calculated under the slab of 0.99, this they informed me in mail. And secondly they have put 124 days of NCP which is totally incorrect. This I have followed it up with my former employer who also said that such thing does not exist. I think it is better to file an RTI.
BEST OPTION and LAST OPTION.
