I worked in a company for 7 months and then got my PF transferred to a new company. However, I will have to leave the new company in 1 month. Can I withdraw my PF?
Please help ASAP.
If your EPF account contribution is is less than 6 months (including the past and current employment), then you can withdraw only EPF. However, if it is more than 6 months, then you can withdraw both EPF and EPS.
Thank you for your reply sir,
But I am not sure if my new employer has transferred my pf from my old pf account. Because I have not received my first month salary yet. If my new employer has not transferred my pf, can I withdraw it?
I feel my new employer has created a new pf account for me? So, what will happen to my old pf account?
If your new employer used the same EPF, then no option but to continue. If new employer created the new EPF, then I suggest you to transfer old one to new one rather than withdrawing old one.
Sir, but I am in a emergency and need of money. If my new employer has created a new account, Is it possible to withdraw or is transfer the only option.
In that case, you can withdraw. But legally when you are in job, then you are not allowed to withdraw.
