In case an employee earns wages more than Rs.15000.00 per month which includes Rs.11000.00 basic+DA, Rs.1600.00 as conveyance allowance, Rs,4600.00 HRA , Rs.9300.00 as others. In such a case whether the employer has any liability to deduct PF and the employee exempt from PF and only voluntarily decides for deduction of PF. If the employee agrees for PF deduction what will be employers contribution whether it will be restricted to Rs.1800.00?
For EPF your total salary does not matter. If your salary (Basic+DA) is less than Rs.15,000 then you must be a member of EPF (if employer comes under EPFO Act). However, salary (Basic+DA) is more than Rs.15,000, then employee has a choice to stay out of EPF INITIALLY (but not in the middle).
If the person not opt for epf then is it chance to increase his net salary..i.e(his basic+da+company contribution amount)
