Please help me in resolving one of my query. I hIve worked for two companies in the previous financial year. and this month i received the form 16 from both of them. however first company didnt mention the HRA deduction in the form 16 and hence i am to pay tax on it. Reason is when i left first company i didnt submited the rent receipt to them.
can I claim HRA if it’s not mentioned in the form 16? If yes please tell me how?
