I am bit late in the game but I want to start it asap. Currently, I have no investment so thinking about long term SIP investment.
I am contributing to employee provident fund 6K per month so now want to invest in ELSS for tax saving and other non-ELSS mutual funds for 20 years horizon.
I searched many sites and thinking to invest in following funds.
ELSS : Axis Bank Growth 3K and Franklin India Tax Shield 2K
Franklin midcap fund – 1500 INR
DSP BR micro fund – 1500 INR
Mirae Asset Emerging bluechip fund – 1500 INR
ICICI Pru Value Discovery Fund : 1500 INR
UTI or Birla : 1500 INR
HDFC balanced fund : 1000 INR
Please suggest what should be the balanced portfolio with some high risk for next 20 years investment.
15,000 per month for ELSS and non-ELSS would be fine for my daughter education, marriage etc.?
I noticed your are suggesting 4-5 funds but I am not having that much of idea so need your inputs for 15K investment in ELSS and non-ELSS funds. I am 33 year old so thinking to take little high risk to maximize the return in 15-20 years.
Yes, I stick to my regular recommendation. First have proper debt to equity ratio. Then in equity 2-3 funds are enough.
Which two funds I should pick up from following group list
Franklin midcap fund – 2500 INR
DSP BR micro fund – 2500 INR
Mirae Asset Emerging bluechip fund – 2500 INR
Apart from two funds from above list, I am also thinking to select below two funds
UTI Large Cap- 2500
ICICI pru Value Discovery – 2500
Now I will have total four funds each 2500 INR/Monthly
Based on research I tried to find out top mutual funds and from those list I selected few small companies funds and one large cap fund. I might be wrong but my vision is for high return in long time period (15-20) years as I don’t have other source of income except monthly salary.
Please help me in the shortlisting because I don’t have enough market knowledge. I can trust on financial expert like you.
