Dear Sir, I joined as LIC agent 8 months ago. So far completed 6 policies in that 5 Jeevan Anand and one money back. Each time when interacted with the proposer I always mentioned about pure term insurance, PPF, and its advantages. Most of them preferred for returns and insurance, as an agent I told them about the possible returns as per the current bonus rates. All agents will not mislead.
Venkii-I totally agree that all agents are not same. But at the same time majority of insurance agents first move is to sell the product which fetch them high commission. If you are prospecting clients with pure insurance (term insurance) values and still customer not ready to take this means it is not your fault. But hiding with reality from agents sides leads to call as mis-selling. If knowlingly customer ready to buy such endowment products then it is not mis-selling but mis-buying.
